A rooftop is a socially deserted cityscape, a vertical boundary of the city, mostly forbidden, open but to few categories of workers.
Somebody stationing on a rooftop wasting time represents a hole of sorts, a minimal addition or subtraction to the city itself.

On the opening night for the “Fragmented show” exhibition there was a person standing on a rooftop nearby the venue with no particular assignment to complete.
