Cieli di Belloveso

2017-18. Public Art Work. Permanent Installation, granite,marble-concrete. Piazza Burri, CityLife, Milan, Italy

A sky map made of more than 100 stars in granite and marbleconcrete that shows the astronomical moment of the mythical foundation of the city of Milan by the legendary Belloveso around 600 B.C., in springtime.
The sky reconstruction, by mirroring the sky and the stars of today, shows the imperceptible slipping of the two maps over the past 2600 years.
